SERAS, SEizure Risk ASsessment, device for the assessment of crisis risk

The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of patients with epilepsy through the development of a solution that will be able to detect and alert the epileptic seizures suffered by this type of patients and thus avoid the accidents that derive from these situations.

A complete portable system for monitoring and predicting epileptic seizures will be designed and developed, based on artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques, which will be customizable for each patient and with a series of parameters that will allow them to adapt to crises and different people.

To achieve this goal, the project has the company MJN, which will lead the present initiative. In addition, the project will have the eXiT Research Group of the UDG that have a long experience in the creation of predictive methods based on biomedical data.
