Goal: Efficient Facilities
This project aims to reduce energy consumption in public buildings (such as schools, libraries, civic centers, offices, etc.) by benchmarking their performance. The project reuses open data from the city of Girona about public buildings and visualizes them in an intuitive way to facilitate energy awareness and decision-making. The final application allows the comparative view of energy consumption in various public buildings and also the comparison of the average consumption of facilities of the same category. The objective is to make this information accessible to both: the citizens and facility managers, in order to support decision-making and foster awareness on efficient energy consumption in public spaces and facilities.
