Terms and conditions

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE

The general contracting conditions are in accordance with the following laws:

  • Law 34/2002 on information society services and e-commerce
  • Law 7/1998 on general contracting conditions
  • The Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, November 16 approving the revised text of the General Law for the defense of consumers and users and other complementary laws
  • Law 7/1995 on the regulation of retail trade, as well as other applicable laws

The general conditions of purchase, as well as any particular conditions that may be established, regulate the relationship between the users of the Summer School website (https://exit.udg.edu/summerschool) who contract the services offered, and the University of Girona, the owner of the Summer School website, with the Tax Identification Code Q6750002E, address at Plaça Sant Domènec,3, 17004 Girona (Spain), Telephone 972418060 and e-mail address: joaquim.armengol@udg.edu.


The use of the purchase services implies, in any case, the acceptance of the general conditions of purchase in full and without any exception, according to the version of the general conditions published at the time of the transaction.


The purchase is restricted exclusively to persons over 18 years of age. The user declares to be of legal age and to have sufficient legal capacity to commit to the general conditions of purchase.


The University of Girona reserves the right to renew, modify or remove, at any time and unilaterally, the services offered and the rules of commercial use contained in the website, which may affect prices, promotions, products, and offers. These modifications will not affect previous contracts made before the change that have been confirmed by the University of Girona.

SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT

The general conditions of purchase apply to the sale of all the services offered by the University of Girona on this website. The characteristics, description, and prices of each service are available on the corresponding web page.

HOW TO BOOK

To make a reservation, the customer must fill in the form on the registration page.

Early registration (purchase made before 31 May 2022) is entitled to the discounted price of 500€. For purchases made after this date, the price will be 750€.

Once the form has been filled in with the customer’s details, the payment must be formalised by payment via bank transfer or credit card.

In case of choosing the bank transfer option, the customer must send the proof of payment to joaquim.armengol@udg.edu.

PRICE AND METHOD OF PAYMENT

The prices published on the website include VAT (Value Added Tax).


The payment system on the website https://exit.udg.edu/summerschool accepts debit or credit cards (VISA or MASTERCARD) directly accessing our virtual Point of Sale to guarantee the total security of the payment.


The transaction is carried out entirely from a secure server, using TLS (Transport Layer Security) security technology, and the card number is encrypted.


The proof of purchase can be sent on request by e-mail.

WITHDRAWAL AND REPAYMENT

The customer will have a period of 15 days from the date of payment to exercise the right of withdrawal. In such a case, the customer must send an email to joaquim.armengol@udg.edu requesting the return of the payment.
