Description:
The ENERFICIENCY project is an initiative to design, implement and test an open software platform for energy efficiency monitoring and management from the customer (consumers/prosumers) side capable to interact with the power network and to provide services for an efficient use of energy. The project aims to build a software platform capable to integrate many and heterogeneous data sources and to provide appropriate services to convert these data into valuable information for energy efficiency management, audit and benchmarking. Development efforts will be distributed in four main topics: software architecture, communications, data acquisition/management and computational intelligence.
This project has been funded by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Comerce of the Spanish Government (project ref. TSI-020400-2011-56) within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation. Proyecto financiado por el Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio del Gobierno Español (Ref. TSI-020400-2011-56), dentro del Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica, Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnológica 2008-2011. El proyecto ENERFICIENCY es una iniciativa para diseñar, implementar y testear una plataforma software abierta para la monitorización de la eficiencia energética y la gestión desde el lado del cliente(consumidor/”prosumer”) que sea capaz de interactuar con la red eléctrica, proporcionando diferentes servicios encarados al uso eficiente de la energía. El proyecto pretende construir una plataforma software que sea capaz de integrar fuentes de datos heterogéneas de forma que a través de servicios adecuados, se conviertan estos datos en información valiosa de cara a la gestión de la eficiencia, auditoria y benchmarking. Los esfuerzos en el desarrollo se distribuyen en cuatro ámbitos principales: arquitectura software, comunicaciones, adquisición/gestión de datos e inteligencia computacional.
