Heritage Protection using IIoT and Digital Twins (TITAN)

Architectural cultural heritage is a pillar of social identity and one of the world’s most strategic economic assets, making its preservation a commitment to future generations. This is why its monitoring is so important, as it provides key information to be able to make decisions on appropriate actions or even anticipate possible damage, maximising its safety and minimising its economic impact.

The Heritage Protection using IIoT and Digital Twins (TITAN) project aims to propose an update of the current monitoring and supervision systems to create Digital Twins of the cultural architectural heritage through IIoT systems and the integration of artificial intelligence systems to enrich the information provided in real time with additional data such as virtual sensors or predictus systems.
