Description:
The main goal of the IMPONET project is to focus on the strategic and technical requirements being demanded by the electrical markets worldwide regarding: smart grids, smart metering, peak demand management, demand response and real time monitoring. In order to fulfil this main goal, the scope of the IMPONET project is to model, design and implement a comprehensive, flexible and configurable information system, in order to meet the most complex and advanced requirements in Energy Management.
This project has been funded by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Comerce of the Spanish Government (project ref. Proyecto financiado por el Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio del Gobierno Español (Ref. TSI-020400-2010-103), dentro del Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica, Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnológica 2008-2011 . El objetivo del proyecto IMPONET se focaliza en los requisitos tanto estratégicos como técnicos que se demandan por el mercado eléctrico con respecto a: redes inteligentes(smart grids), smart metering, gestión de picos de la demanda, monitorización en tiempo real entre otros. De cara a lograr este objetvo, el alcance de IMPONET es modelar, diseñar e implementar un sistema de información flelxible y configurable que contemple la mayor parte de estos requerimientos dentro del ámbito de la gestión de la energía.
