Description:
This project will develop a first approach to the encapsulation of power systems with multichip module technology. The wide scope of multichip technologies for low signal devices and systems is well known. The advantages that these modules present with respect to the traditional encapsulation are a greater density of integration, a greater speed of operation, a decrease of the costs of production and assembly of the final devices. Specifically, the encapsulation techniques necessary for the integration of medium-power circuits into a multichip D type module will be developed. The final device manufactured will be assembled with autonomous traction controller of the autonomous robot ROGER of the Universitat de Girona. The multichip module will be integrated into a standard PCB board together with the additional circuitry required for the control and communication algorithm with the microprocessor of the robot.
